Pozitron

Whew ! – I finally got the Happy Holiday dust off me and ready to blog
again. Been busy doing freelance gigs as usual but I wanted show and
share this project. Next month, hopefully I will be launching a new
anthology book featuring all my creator owned characters.
One of them is Pozitron, who was influenced by the Pulp writer
E.E. “ Doc “ Smith, creator of the Lensman series of novels.

Other inspirations include Marvel Comics/ Artists/ Writers/ Creators-
Jack “ King “ Kirby and Jim Starlin.

I will be giving snippets of my book as a tease, just to let you know
what’s its all about.

Pozitron is the adventure of one lone warrior against a race of demons
Know as “ The Aganza .”

Take a peep.

Grits and Gravy

I’m sure that some of your might know about this book. I just heard about
it from Milton Davis, my collaborator on Changa’s Safari. 3 illustrations
I have shown here in previous blogs.

Grits and Gravy is a Mature Audience book like Heavy Metal, that
features art by brothers who have worked for Marvel, DC Comics
Valiant Comics, etc.

From checking out their site, I noticed that they sold out of the
first issue.

Here’s where they are… go and see for yourself, it’s something else.

Ditkomania 75

Its always a pleasure to see Ditkomania in my mailbox. This issue was quite
big in page count, about 44 pages. A lot of Ditko art from 1975 with interesting articles. Here are a few Illustrations that I did for certain sections of the fanzine.

I’ve been a fan of Ditko for years and I’m influenced by him but I don’t
necessary draw like him. Using Ditko as a template for storytelling along
with Alex Toth and Gray Morrow ain’t a bad idea.

One day, I just might use Billy Graham as a storytelling inspiration.
His Luke Cage, Hero for Hired is the best…and his work in Vampirella/
Creepy was also excellent.

Changa 3

Well, here’s the latest Changa illustration. Now, I’m gearing up for the
painted cover of this novel.

I’ve been busy designing book covers for clients and stuff like
that. But this is a proud moment for me, in terms that I get
to visual a magnificent sword and soul adventure by Milton
Davis.

You will here more about him in future blogs… He’s a man
with a mission to bring quality stories and art to people.
